Blue Acorn Launches Mori Luggage & Gifts

For forty-one years, Mori Luggage & Gifts has relied on offering quality products and positive customer experiences. People who walk into a Mori store always find themselves greeted by a warm, knowledgeable staff. Nowadays, however, not everybody has the time to visit a store. Some don’t have the good fortune to live near one. These individuals were limited to shopping Mori online and missing out on that warm, in-store experience. At least they were missing out.

Mori Luggage & Gifts and Blue Acorn recently launched a new eCommerce site to better mimic their in-store experience online. Blue Acorn designed and developed the new site on Magento Enterprise Edition that gives customers an easy, intuitive shopping experience. This implementation kept SEO best practices in mind from start to finish, so Mori’s customers will never have trouble finding them with any search engine.

Mori Luggage & Gifts eCommerce SiteThe site itself is almost entirely custom – from the layered navigation on the homepage to the Navision ERP integration on the backend. Enabling their ERP system of choice work with their new site is a big advantage to the folks at Mori. In addition to not having to learn a new system, it makes adding new products much easier, eliminates duplicate work, and allows Magento to seamlessly update.

Although some people may shorten the retailer’s name to Mori or Mori Luggage, you can’t ignore the clever gifts at Mori Luggage & Gifts. Therefore, the fine folks at Mori (see what I mean), felt it essential that the new site can also keep track of gift cards that can be used both online and in stores. We agree and made that happen. So now that the new Mori Luggage & Gifts site is up and running on Magento Enterprise Edition, it’s time to really make it sing.
