Magento Commerce is an “SEO-friendly” shopping cart, certainly.  However, many people mistake its SEO friendliness, for SEO itself. What “SEO-friendly” really means, is that it allows professional SEOs to do what they need to do in order to optimize the site for search engine optimization.  In the past, many shopping cart platforms had limitations that hindered the efforts of many SEOs, which is why it is so important for anyone looking at a new shopping cart platform to consider the implications that the technology choise has on search engine optimization efforts.
