Blue Acorn is proud to be hosting Atlanta’s first Magento eCommerce Forum, which will take place at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Buckhead on Thursday, September 20 from 4:30 – 7:00pm. This event – which will be co-hosted by Magento, Inc., PEER 1, and MailChimp – is intended to further educate eCommerce merchants on how taking the proper approach with a flexible eCommerce platform and complementary services can grow revenue across the board for companies of nearly every vertical.
Earlier this year, Magento Inc. declared Reed & Barton’s new eCommerce site the Most Innovative Magento Site of the Year, but it was more than just an online retail site. It was a company-wide solution that addressed both their B2C and B2B sales channels, each with their own unique needs and requirements. This event will feature a presentation from Kevin Eichelberger, Founder & CEO of Blue Acorn, as he discusses how Reed & Barton was able to leverage the possibilities of Magento’s Enterprise Edition to drive revenue both online and offline. A strong advocate of making data-driven decisions, Kevin will also discuss Blue Acorn’s Intelligent Approach to eCommerce that uses analytics to drive optimization efforts.
After the presentation, Kevin will be joined by representatives from Magento Inc., PEER 1, and MailChimp for a live Q&A
session, followed by a night of networking. We should be in good shape as far as knowing the best places to go, as Atlanta is MailChimp’s backyard.
“We have a long history of integrating with Magento and know that many of our eCommerce customers love using Magento’s powerful software,” proclaims Amy Ellis, Head of Integrations and Partnerships at MailChimp. “Because of this history, we are excited to be involved in Magento’s first eCommerce Forum here in Atlanta.”
Bottom line: If you’re an eCommerce merchant in the Atlanta area, we hope to see you there! Click here to register online.
Atlanta must have been in sore need of an eCommerce Forum because we had a great turnout! We’d like to thank our partners from Magento, PEER 1, and MailChimp who all made it out to present and answer questions from the attendees. We’d also like to thank all of those who made the time to come out and learn about the various solutions offered by Magento, Inc. and their partners. We know that happy hour traffic is anything but happy, and as far as we know, nobody arrived by helicopters. If someone did, we’re offended that we didn’t get an invite.
We were especially excited to see our friends from Mori Luggage & Gifts who made it out on the same day that we launched their new site! They are a perfect example of the types of relationships we like to form with our clients, made possible – in part – by site launches so smooth that our clients can cut our early for drinks. We are all extremely happy with the way their new site turned out and look forward to growing its revenue as time goes on.
We’ve posted photos from this event on our company Facebook page. If you’d like for Magento to consider an eCommerce Forum in your area, please feel free to contact us. Thanks again to everyone who made Atlanta’s first Magento eCommerce Forum such a success!
