Graphic Design Intern

What you’ll do:

  • Research and design of rich infographics
  • Creation of promotional web graphics
  • Design elements to be used in marketing and sales materials
  • Design and procurement of promotional products (“schwag”)
  • Artwork preparation and production for implementation team

Director of Client Services

Our need:

We are currently seeking a results-oriented leader to strengthen our position with current and potential clients, improve operational efficiency, and strength in our client service teams. Reporting to the CEO, you will directly manage the Client Services team (account management, project management, support) and aim to improve the delivery of both development and strategic services. You are ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of these services in terms of being delivered on budget, on time, while adhering to the utmost level of quality. A succesful Director of Client Services will lead Blue Acorn into exceeding client’s expectations.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage an in-house team of account managers, project managers, client support, and other supporting resources
  • Oversee client relationships and deliverables across the organization
  • Improve, define, and implement processes for client deliverables
  • Resource planning and projecting
  • Create standards for development of scope definitions
  • Take ownership of internal “Work Management” tool from configuration, process definition, documenting procedures, training internal and external users, etc.

eCommerce Consultant

Our need:

We’re looking for an online marketing professional with a strong background in SEM (SEO & PPC), analytics, email, social and other online marketing avenues to define and apply those strategies to online retailers in helping them grow revenue. Systems Specialist

We’re looking for a logical thinking technical resource to support our clients both in terms of application level support, as well as QA testing internal development deliverables before they reach the client. Your mission is to keep clients happy by supporting their application questions, understanding their needs, and ensuring that our development work meets those expectations. This is an entry level position and ideal for someone looking to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with our team of developers. A successful candidate will exhibit an aptitude for grasping technical concepts, possess exceptional, logic based problem solving and troubleshooting, and the ability to communicate effectively.

What you’ll do:

  • Application-based customer support

What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a well rounded, technical individual to work closely with our clients as a primary point of contact for managing the relationship. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be dedicated towards ensuring our clients success by understanding their needs, goals, and direction and aligning our internal teams to deliver the desired results.

UI/UX Developer

Blue Acorn, a growing eCommerce consulting firm, is looking for an experienced UI developer to join our team. At Blue Acorn, we are always looking at ways to be innovative in capturing online sales, and our developers create environments, and tools for our clients to do just that. Our UI developer will primarily be tasked with developing the user interface for our client’s eCommerce websites, and ensuring that all output meet quality assurance standards in regards to W3C compliance, performance optimization, HTML5, and best practices surrounding each.

What you’ll do:

  • Taking supplied PSD files and implementing them on eCommerce and CMS based systems

Project Manager

What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a well rounded, technical individual to work closely with our clients and internal teams on managing implementation projects from kickoff to delivery. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a project’s success by ensuring it is delivered on time, on budget, and to the client’s expectations. To accomplish this, a successful candidate will be able to manage multiple concurrent projects, be very detail oriented, organized, and be able to “own” the process. These are largely technical implementations involving custom development and as such, a technical background and an understanding of web technologies and development processes will be necessary to understand the tasks that you would be overseeing.
