Kelly Paper came to us with a Magento site that they felt could use some design and feature upgrades. Maintaining an intimidatingly large product assortment with very similar – yet different – products can make it difficult for customers to find what they need without a product number, which is why they chose Blue Acorn to design and develop a new digital storefront to make finding and ordering the right type of paper as easy as possible.
In an effort to increase conversions, our team designed a custom block for the product pages and cart that remained in place as the user scrolled down the page. Inside the block, a checkout button invited the visitor to click anytime. The block also bolstered the customer’s confidence in the product by including Kelly Paper’s excellent customer service line. Together, that confidence builder and the constant invitation increased conversions on the product page and decreased abandonment rates within the shopping cart.
Although the new storefront was initially intended to be a proof of concept, the praise that it has received from shoppers, employees, and eCommerce blogs alike has encouraged Kelly Paper to extend our new concept to the rest of their site.
