Fanzz, a retailer of licensed sports merchandise, came to Blue Acorn wanting to create the ultimate experience for sports fans. Their outdated eCommerce solution wasn’t meeting performance expectations and could no longer support the needs of the growing business. With a long-term strategic plan in place, the first step for Fanzz was to select a partner to guide them toward eCommerce success.
Seeking an eCommerce platform that offered more flexibility, Fanzz engaged Blue Acorn to upgrade their outdated site to Magento to take advantage of its native marketing capabilities, responsive framework, and to build an infrastructure capable of supporting continued growth. Blue Acorn developed a new site that is primed to support an omni-channel commerce experience in the future.
Users can select their favorite sports teams for a personalized experience. Default pages, like the homepage and checkout page, will render the selected team’s colors.

On the homepage, Blue Acorn integrated Fanzz’s Instagram and Twitter feeds to display posts in real time.
