jb and me sells women’s designer clothing both in their store location in Holland Michigan, and also on their newly developed website at jbandme.com. jb and me (yes, that’s supposed to be lowercase) contacted Blue Acorn in July of 2008 with the goal of improving their existing eCommerce site.
The team at jb and me set forth on a plan with Blue Acorn to drastically improve their web presence in an effort to increase revenue, and put them in a better position against well established online competitors. Together, we decided to move forward on the Magento Commerce platform, which aligned with their requirements and website goals. In addition, we provided consultation in numerous areas of online operations, from marketing, to SEO, and custom development for functionality not existing in the out of box platform. What we put together was a robust web presence, built on a Magento Commerce instance with customizations aimed to improve the user experience, that now generates organic web traffic and does a better job at converting visitors into buyers.
Since re-launching, and with our SEO efforts, jbandme.com has manged to dramatically improve its search engine positioning for a number of key phrases. In fact, their top 10 placement for relevant keyphrases increased 400%. We look forward to continuing our relationship with jb and me as we collaborate on ideas and methods to continue growing the revenue generated from their website.
